In the other ending, Mason survives being shot. He is now 93 at this point, going to surprise Woods with a visit. In the multiplayer map Nuketown , players can find a mailbox that says 'Mason' on the side of it. It's nice to think the two buddies live close together -- even if it is in a nuclear testing town. Sadly, the two houses will be destroyed at the end of each match.
