How can meowth talk

Meowth is part of the Team Rocket trio, along with Jesse and James, whose presence throughout the anime is driven by their need to follow Ash and his friends in order for them to try and steal Pikachu. In terms of personality, Meowth is known to be ambitious and conniving, as he has been known to hoodwink Ash and his team in order to lure them into traps several times. The reason why Meowth can talk in the anime is rather grim, stemming from personal tragedy and years of neglect.

Due to a scarcity of food, or the fact that he was not properly taken of, Meowth accidentally tipped over a basket of baseballs, believing them to be food. This angers the resident baseball coach, who hangs Meowth from a tree as punishment.

Whilst hanging, Meowth sees a movie named That Darn Meowth! Believing Hollywood to be a paradise, he decides to venture there with renewed hopes and dreams - which would be where he finally learned to speak. But never mind the confusing geographical leaps that conjures, the important part is that Meowth is not distracted by the lights of Hollywood or the fault in his expectations.

No, he's in full jaded, reminiscing mode. With flashback scenes and Meowth's narration, the episode reveals that when he was very young, he was alone, hungry, and struggling to survive. After being tied up by some humans, he watched a movie and decided Hollywood was a one-way ticket to a decadent bounty of food.

However, once he got there, he didn't find fame and ice cream but rather more struggle. Luckily, a gang of street Meowths led by a Persian, the evolved form of Meowth, welcomed him in. Still, though, he was looking for love. Meowzie disregarded Meowth because he couldn't provide for her the way a human can. So, to win her heart, Meowth set out to become a human. Or, at least, human-like.

Meowth might say so, though it's unclear if he's read any Charles Dickens. Do you have proven online publishing experience? Click HERE and join our team! To the surprise of cohorts Jessie and James, this isn't Meowth's first visit to the city. In a series of flashbacks, Meowth waxes somberly on how he came to Hollywood as a youngster chasing a dream of being well-fed in paradise, inspired by the film That Darn Meowth!

While running with Persian and his gang of misfit Meowths, Meowth fell deeply in love with Meowzie, a Meowth far out of his league. With nothing to offer her, and nothing particularly special about him , Meowth focused his efforts to make himself worthy of her affections, and in doing so, became more human-like. Nightly, Meowth listened in on English classes, studied diligently and, eventually, learned how to speak and read.

Soon thereafter, Meowth walked confidently up to Meowzie on his own two legs and, in perfect English, laid bare his innermost feelings. He was promptly ignored, his affections rejected. Meowth is, first and foremost, a villain. His antics with Team Rocket may be funny in so much that they fail in ways that would make The Three Stooges proud, but in the end, he is attempting to steal here and kidnap there.
