Why naruto shippuden is bad

In all honesty, Sasuke's character did a whole in the show and not in a good way. He went from the mysterious and engaging hero to your average one-dimensional 'sideline' character. After discovering the truth about his brother, Sasuke leaves in pursuit of vengeance from the Leaf Village understandable. But whatever Itachi did was in the hopes of restoring peace within the Leaf Village just so that Sasuke could go on and have a better life, pursuing something other than bloodshed.

So, what does he do? He decides to let his brother's death be in vain by doing the polar opposite of what Itachi had wished for him. This could have been a revelation moment pretty early on in Shippuden but his villainous role is unnecessarily dragged out till the very end.

Fans turned from admiring the cool, laid-back person to hating the boring, emotionless wanna-be bad guy. If it wasn't enough that Itachi was actually the good guy all along, they throw in the fact that Obito isn't Madara.

The anime has had some pretty juicy revelations throughout the series but these two were THE defining moments that shocked all fans. Itachi was the main bad boy of the show in the Pre-Shippuden Naruto realm. He was famously the heartless guy who massacred the entire Uchiha clan and left Sasuke scarred. But later on, the revelation of Danzo being the mastermind orchestrator of it all took fans by quite the surprise.

The next honorable mention is when Tobi took off his mask and revealed that he's actually Obito and was pretending to be Madara all along. Fans definitely did not see that coming, there was no hint that the real Madara was still alive.

It was another damn good reveal. You have to admit that the Tobi you knew with the mask on was a pretty cool guy. But as soon as it came off, he became Obitou -- just another unlikeable, boring character that should be cast-off in the background. Obito's backstory was totally riddled with plot-holes. His motives were not believable at the very least. The fact that all his actions were because of Rin, a girl whom he liked for a couple of minutes, was highly illogical and made no sense.

His character is pretty much all over the map throughout the show. There was always a lot of hype about his deadly and mysterious powers yet he still used the same plain old couple of tricks. It feels as though he was written to be a poor man's Nagato. His redemption was utterly unearned.

The change in Gaara from schizophrenic psychopath to Kage was hilarious and crazy in its own right. However, choosing to make him a Kage out of the blue was certainly unexpected. His character would have thrived had he been given a more normal adulthood, devoid of such responsibility. However, Sasuke wanting to become Hokage is even an even bigger joke. Sasuke and Gaara are the last two individuals who should be allowed to rule. His desperate actions and needy personality were understandable and relatable.

However, slowing down his maturity was simply a cheap ploy to get more manga sales and future anime seasons launched. Can you imagine Naruto being at full power?

What would the fight between Jiraiya and Pain have been like if Naruto was there fighting at full capacity? This was especially evident when she mentioned giving him a chance at having a relationship with her upon his return. The next thing we knew, Jiraiya was gone. Despite his awkwardness, Jiraiya was accepted.

Whenever his name is mentioned, most fans think back to the time when he agreed to train Naruto. While Jiraiya did go out in style, quoting proverbs and sending a secret message in code, the moment was heartbreaking.

Plenty of characters refused to die or kept coming back to life throughout the series, but the one who made us laugh the most will forever be gone. Most fans will never forget. The whole Sasuke arc was a giant mess. It all started with a little jealousy and one kiss. There are over 22, fanfics that are devoted to Naruto and Sasuke being an item. Many fans who support it don't care about how realistic it is, choosing to ignore any arguments that stand in their way. Most fans even believe that Kishimoto is a SasuNaru shipper himself, making the series all the more fun to read and watch.

Who can forget Sasuke giving Naurto the pet name "Usuratonkachi"? The debate over sub vs dub has been going on for decades and likely isn't to get wrapped up anytime soon. Many fans either take one strict side, refusing to even consider the other. However, due to censorship issues and poor casting choices, the English dub version of Naruto is dismal at best. Good voice actors are getting some much-deserved attention for their work, and thus the quality of dubbing has increased tremendously.

Merging flashbacks into a story can be powerful, allowing the audience to relate to the characters on a deeper level. However, there is a time and a place for flashbacks-- and in the middle of a fight scene is not one of them.

Nonetheless, we did appreciate some of the flashbacks in the series. It was established that Kakashi had a small chakra pool. It would have been nice to have seen a flashback.

Then it was established that he can use it at maximum 2 times. He even died fighting Pain by using Kamui. So how can we believe that in a war in which we see him using:. Based on that — how can we believe he has enough Chakra to spam Kamui against Obito? This a big plot-hole that nobody can make sense of. A villain is only good if they have personality, some development and foreshadowing. Kaguya just came out of nowhere replacing Madara who would have been better in my opinion to end the series with.

This made me nearly give up on the series but because I had watched so many episodes , it just made me hate Naruto as a character. You can like Naruto but in my opinion, in Shippuden the series lost the meaning it originally wanted to convey: that hard work can beat natural talent. Featured image: source.
